Luontopolku Back to Your Senses® Method

A free reflective walk guide to reconnect with yourself

Intentional travel is not about ticking destinations off a list. It's about tuning in. It's the conscious choice to create space for reflection, rest, and renewal. Whether near or far, when we travel with purpose, we begin to see more clearly.

In the quiet forests of Finland, I learned to listen again: to nature, to my senses, and finally, to myself. That journey gave birth to Luontopolku Back to Your Senses® method, my signature practice for slowing down and realigning with what matters most.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, at a crossroads, or simply longing to feel more present, this guide is your invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect.

This is me—walking the path I now guide you on. Join me and take your first step back to yourself.

What is Luontopolku?

Luontopolku Back to Your Senses® is a Finnish nature-based method that guides you back to clarity, presence and inner balance through mindful movement, reflection and transformative travel experiences.

Luontopolku, Finnish for “nature trail”, is a gentle, self-guided method inspired by Finnish nature traditions and healing walks. It’s not a hike or a destination, but a mindful way of listening inward, the root of the Happiness of Finns. In Finland we say: “The forest answers what you shout into it.” The answers within are echoed back to you.

  1. You can do it anywhere: a forest path, Old town cobblestones, village trail, a quiet garden

  2. You don’t need special gear, just time, curiosity, and presence

  3. You’ll be guided by movement, reflection, and sensory awareness

Who is it for?

  • Curious seeking clarity

Experiences of Finnish Happiness

“I spent the weekend with Mirka for her Happiness Camp experience. I don’t say this lightly that I think it was a life changing experience and a weekend I will be thinking about for a long time. Mirka has a gift for speaking with people and asking the right questions and while she guides the experience, it is completely custom to each person. I want to bring back all of my friends and family so they can experience it for themselves! “ ‍ ‍ — Roya Fox
